Women in Transition

I see women who are looking for help with the following:

1. Loss of a loved one due to death, a break up, or ‘empty nest’.
2. ‘It’s complicated’. Relationship turmoil. Understanding the issues. To stay or to go.
3. Surviving high school, college, or returning after years of no school.
4. New to single life, living alone, finding self-love, or returning to the dating scene.
5. A geographic move, new girl in town, and finding your community.
6. Returning to work or a Biz Start Up. Thriving in spite of the turmoil.
7. Questioning your sexual identity, gender, lifestyle.  Curious, experimenting, confused?  Wanting to tell someone,
your parents, friends, and need the courage and words.
8. Midlife Reinvention or Fun in Retirement

How do I get through this transition?

Recognize that transitions are hard because they can shake your sense of identity. But being in transition is a wonderful opportunity for growth.

Recall other times in your life when you've successfully dealt with transitions. Part of what helps you feel secure in transition is having a support system. Together we will get through this chapter of your life and discover how empowering it is to overcome your fears and doubts.

I notice how when we consciously recognize and mark these passages it affects our lives in very positive ways. My job is to connect women to their important life transitions while giving them the tools to understand their significance in the broader scheme of their lives.

AS A COACH/THERAPIST I HAVE ALWAYS SAID THAT MY CLIENTS ARE MY BEST TEACHERS. BEARING WITNESS TO ANOTHER’S LIFE STORY HAS BROADENED MY OWN APPRECIATION FOR THE MANY EXPERIENCES WE GO THROUGH.

Reviews

Several years ago, I was looking for additional support during a challenging time in my life.  My search led me to Pamelah ; and I am eternally grateful it did.

Through years of reliable and consistent meetings, we’ve developed a strong therapeutic relationship.  Whether we’ve taken our sessions for a walk, or spent the time highlighting all there is to be grateful for, each meeting has yielded great insight.

Pamelah creates a comfortable and safe space where I am free to come as I am and express my truth.  She listens with an open heart.

Initially I came for support during an isolated incident, but I have remained with her for more than five years because I found a trusted confidant to walk with me on my journey of personal development.

A testimony from a dear female client, recently 🙏🏻 I am so glad we get each other and I am able to be there for her ❤️

I was going through lots of change in life, as we all do, as well as some struggles in my personal relationships. I felt so overwhelmed and like I really needed someone to talk to. I was reluctant to talk to a therapist but happy I found Pam.

Pam has been so supportive, encouraging and honest with me, helping me stay level headed and honest with myself. Her guidance and perspective always help me get my mind clear when it was previously in a fog. I have shared more with her than anyone, including my closest friends. I didn’t expect to feel so comfortable but she makes me comfortable. I can tell she listens with an open mind without judgment- just curiosity, as she is thinking of ways to offer insight or helpful suggestions or perspective. I would highly recommend Pam to anyone looking for a supportive and honest therapist. She truly cares about your comfort, personal growth and wellbeing.

Thank you!! I’m so grateful for being a part of this clients life-to witness her overcoming and blooming ❤️🙏🏻

Working with Pam over the last five years has really allowed me to accept, understand and appreciate myself, which is a first for me! She is a fantastic person, with so much to give. Pam allows you to work through what’s going on, while providing the feedback, advice and questions you need! I really can’t thank her enough!

I had the privilege to meet Pamelah two years ago. She is committed to mental and physical health and vitality.
