Insurance and CoPays
The Warming Tree is contracted with a number of insurance panels including all Blue Cross/Blue Shield plans, Optum, GIC, Value Options, Connecticare, Tufts Health Plan and United Behavioral Health, Employee Assistance Programs such as Ceridian, Military One Source, ESI, Commpsych (check with your employer as to you EAP Benefits). We also take Out of Network Benefits if your Plan covers it. Our billing department can determine this quickly.
Copays are required to be paid in full at each appointment. Cash, check, or credit cards are acceptable.
If your insurance is not one that Pamelah takes, a sliding scale fee can be arranged. This can be discussed on an individual basis when you call.

Cancellation and Payment Policy
The Warming Tree requires that you give a minimum of 24 hours notice or you will be charged the full rate of the session. As Pamelah prepares for your visit, and is unable to fill that time slot with short notice, this is a reasonable request and a standard practice.
With non-insured, cash payments, the session fee will need to be paid prior to the scheduled time, for each session.
Privacy
The Warming Tree is HIPAA compliant. We follow the laws of the "The Privacy Rule," a federal regulation which protects your healthcare information. Please ask for more clarification when we speak if you would like to.
Making Initial Contact
As we therapists are often in session we can not always answer phone. However, The Warming Tree has a receptionist that will return your call on the same day (excluding evenings and weekends, of course). Please let our staff know (in a voicemail or when we call back), what are good times to reach you, to schedule an initial appointment, and what is your insurance coverage if you have it. Have your card ready, as she will need to get final approval through our billing dept. to confirm the appointment.
You can also make arrangements to have Pamelah call you back to ask any questions about her areas of expertise and what you can expect.
